You might know my story but just in case you don’t I will take a minute to share it with you, you will understand why I am so passionate about blogging after reading it.  

I launched my blog back in 2016 during maternity leave, I had just had my little boy George and I knew that going back to work full time 9-5 was not an option for me.

One day I was on the scroll, you know the one on Facebook where you just scroll and scroll and then BAM, I saw something that changed my life forever.

It was a couple of bloggers travelling the world, they were jumping from a plane and earning money at the same time, and they were talking about how they earn money from blogging by sharing their experiences.

I was like .. .I need some of this in my life (not the sky diving part) but the having fun whilst earning and I realised that a different life was possible for our family too.

It was then that I decided to take a leap of faith and launch my blog and I called it My Bump 2 Baby LTD.

Now it wasn’t all butterflies and rainbows, I was a mum on maternity leave trying to figure this blogging malarkey out. Money was tight, when I say tight, I mean really tight every penny was accounted for.  I couldn’t afford to invest in help and courses.

I spent a lot of late nights and early mornings researching how to take my blog from a hobby to a business and I tried and tested so many different things to figure out what works what doesn’t, what you can do, what you can’t and that leads me to here.

 My blog is now one of the UK’s leading parenting platforms, welcoming and supporting around 300,000 families each month. I now earn enough that my husband can start his own business and we have a beautiful life.
